Over the years, our firm has been fortunate to attract and retain staff that is friendly, compassionate, highly skilled and dedicated to their profession.
Whether it is our licenced staff, non-licenced staff or support staff, we believe that it is important for you to feel comfortable with all of the people that you will meet at our firm. As such, we are providing you with a brief background and photograph of the individuals that make up our team.

John is a very active member of our community. He is a Past Board Member of the Pembroke Kiwanis Club, Past Grand Knight, Knights of Columbus Bishop N.Z. Lorrain Council 1531 Pembroke, and Past Faithful Navigator, 4TH Degree Bishop Smith Assembly Pembroke, Board Member and Treasurer of Columbus House, Past Vice Chair of the Board of Pembroke Regional Hospital and past Chair of the Ethics Committee, Past Board Member Pembroke Regional Hospital Foundation and Past Chair Cathedral School Council. John is the proud father of Warren and Jordan (Melinda) and 'Papa' to granddaughters Briar and Kaia.
Sandra Huff
Licensed Funeral Director Class 1
Sandra was born and raised in Eganville and received her Funeral Directors Licence in 2000, She is a member of the Pembroke Regional Hospital Auxiliary. Sandra is an active hockey and soccer mother to her children Warren and Jordan (Melinda) and was a volunteer parent with functions at Cathedral School. Sandra is the proud 'Nana' to granddaughters Briar and Kaia. Sandra is an avid horsewoman and looks after and rides her Arabian "Reggie" every chance she gets.
Warren Huff
Licensed Funeral Director Class 1
Warren is the son of John and Sandra Huff. Warren graduated from Bishop Smith High School in Pembroke and Carleton University in Ottawa with a Degree in Economics. Warren attended Humber College in Toronto, completing his apprenticeship in August of 2016 and received his Funeral Directors Class 1 Licence. Warren has joined his family owned Funeral Home as an active member of the family team and devotes his spare time to his Arabian horse L.A. Exuberance (Boo). He showed and competed with Boo in many area horse shows and has collected many top awards.
Gene Murphy
Funeral Director (Emeritus)
Gene played an active role in the Funeral Home as well as the community. Gene was a member of the board of the Marianhill Foundation, Past Faithful Navigator of Bishop Smith Assembly 4TH Degree, member of Knights of Columbus Pembroke Council 1531, Past President of the Pembroke Kiwanis Club, Past Chair of the Kiwanis Easter Seals, past president of the V.O.N. past treasurer of the Ottawa District Funeral Service Association and a founding member and board member of Bereaved Families of Ontario, Pembroke Branch.
Non-Licenced Staff
Although not licenced funeral directors, these members of our staff are vitally important toward the operation of our firm. These individuals make it possible for us to professionally coordinate funerals with the quality of service our community has come to expect from us.

Denis Lariviere
Funeral Assistant
Denis is married to Heather and they have and son Kirstofer and daughter Nikki as well as their first grandchild Mackenzie. Denis was born and raised in Pembroke. He retired as Manager of the LCBO. In his spare time he and Heather snowmobile the many trails in Renfrew County
Terry Sharpe
Funeral Assistant
Terry was born and raised in Pembroke, joined Metro Toronto Police after high school and in 1974 transferred to the O.P.P. until his retirement in 2002. Terry worked in Lindsay, Pembroke, Blind River and Renfrew and in 1994 transferred to Smithés Falls Eastern Region Headquarters as Detective Sgt.of Renfrew County as supervisor of all major crime investigations. Terry is married to Donna Fawcett of Pembroke and they live in Pembroke. Terry belongs to The Royal Canadian Legion Br. #72 Pembroke. He is a member of St. Luke's Anglican Church in Pembroke. Terry is an avid hunter, angler, golfer and proud grandfather.
Ron Brisson
Funeral Assistant
Ron was born and raised in Pembroke and retired from AECL. Ron is married to Betty Heney and they have two children Chris and Laura and twin granddaughters. Ron has served on the Parish Council at St. Columbkille's Cathedral and has done a lot of volunteer work with the Kidney Foundation.
Tony Barone
Funeral Assistant
Tony was born and raised in Pembroke. He is married to Suzanne and has two children Vincent and Michelle. Tony has been an active contractor and real estate developer. Tony is a very service and community oriented individual.
