To Our Friends and Neighbours
Protocols during this COVID-19 response.
We are open as usual during business hours and available 24 hours a day and as always, responsive to your needs.
When caring for your loved one, we will continue to adhere to universal precautions.
Our facilities, equipment and vehicles will be thoroughly cleaned and disinfected after each use.
We have implemented additional measures to ensure your safety, as well as the safety of our Team, which include introducing enhanced cleaning protocols in our facility, with particular focus on high traffic and high contact areas.
We can assist you with funeral arrangements in designated arrangement offices or by using communication tools such as Skype, Facetime and/or e-mail.
During visitations and services, we ask that you share your condolences and provide your support but limit your physical contact when with the family and practice social distancing. Avoid handshakes and hugs. Ceremonies can be recorded and uploaded for your family and friends.
Gatherings for indoor venues (Church or Chapel/Visitation) will be limited to 30% of capacity (25-30 people in the Funeral Home) and outdoor venues at the cemetery limited to 50 people practicing social distancing as regulations. We can however host multiple smaller gatherings if your family and friends exceed the capacity requirements by appointment. If you are feeling unwell or uncomfortable attending, we will be accepting video condolences which we will forward to the family, at no additional cost. Condolences, stories and photos may be shared right here on our website.
We continue to monitor and adhere to the recommendations and directives forwarded to us daily by the Bereavement Authority of Ontario (our Governing Body), Ontario Funeral Service Association and the Provincial Ministry of Health.
Please feel free to contact us at any time with any questions or concerns that you might have.
