Ward & Lynn Baxter

Dear Anne Marie, Michelle, Bobby and Andrée and all your Families,
I was so sorry to learn that you lost your Mother, mother-in-law and grandmother. It has been umpteen years since I was last in touch with Anne Marie, but I still hold a lot of good memories from my visits with you at your house when I was in my teens. Your parents were always welcoming, no matter the clapping sound of ping pong tournaments in the basement, and good meals that your Mom made (and the noisy bunch we could be in doing the dishes afterwards); singing and playing the guitar and late night chatting and giggling. Know that I'm very mindful of all of you these days. I hope that especially in these initial days and weeks of transition with her absence, that you continue to surround each other with your care and your presence, and even your grief, knowing that your Mom's love for you has long and solid roots. Take good care, amicalement, Louise Rathier (Ottawa).

Our family memories are my favourite. The Legace family (Rita was Bob's sister) would visit with Bob & Colette's family in Thunder Bay, Pembroke, Hanover or even on route to TB. Lots of kids, lots of laughter and always good food. I remember fondly the stories told from both sides. Aunt Colette always had a feast for us and we enjoyed our times to gather and reconnect. I have to say the party must be loud and joyful in Heaven as another family member has been welcomed home.
Lovely service for your Mom. Lots of love and prayers sent your way.
Anne Legace-Gagnier, Rob and family
