At the Pembroke Regional Hospital surrounded by the love of her family on Tuesday November 10, 2020 at the age of 77 years. Joan Mielke (nee Conway) of Pembroke, beloved wife of Walter Mielke. Loved mother of Allan Mielke (Maureen), Oshawa, Vivian Mielke (Ted), Toronto and Suzanne Ballard (Pierre), Pembroke. Loving grandmother to Erik, Patrick, Terrence and Eileen. Dear sister of Bob Conway, Norah Smith, Patrick Conway, Leo Conway and the late Danny and Rebecca Conway. Sister-in-law to Marlene Meyers, Dianne D’Aoust and Sheila Bourgoin Daughter of the late Leo and Marjorie (nee Dillon) Conway. Joan will be sadly missed by all her nieces and nephews. A Funeral Service will be held in Christ Lutheran Church, Airport Road Pembroke, Thursday at 11:00 a.m. DUE TO THE CURRENT RESTRICTIONS OF THE COVID-19 PROTOCOLS, A LIMITED NUMBER OF PEOPLE ARE PERMITTED IN THE CHURCH AT ANY GIVEN TIME - FACE MASKS ARE REQUIRED TO ATTEND THE FUNERAL SERVICE. Please feel free to bring your own face mask or one will be supplied to you by the Funeral Home. followed by Interment in Christ Lutheran Cemetery.
