Dear Mrs. Lawrence & Family, Dear Norma, though it has been a long time since we have seen each other, you are never forgotten. So sorry to hear of Mr. Lawrence’s Homegoing. Growing up in Pembroke, I can still remember his deep voice, that burly laugh and how your family embraced mine. You and Mr. Lawrence always looked out for me, like I was family, and I am ever grateful. I believe that the Dear Lord places people in your life for a purpose, and I know I was Blessed to have known him. May God Bless, keep & strengthen you all as you journey through this time.
Sincerely, Mrs. Jean Osbourne & Family, and Sandra Jackson & Family.

My condolences to the Laurence Family.
I was honoured to serve with Paddy in the 60s-70s. I had much respect for the man; he personified the 8CH to me. As the Ops WO for City Sqn in Cyprus he kept a firm grip on the situations and quickly earned the respect, if not fear, from the Greeks and Turks. You could rest easy when Paddy was on duty!
Rest in peace old soldier

To our Dear Canadian Lawrence Family, This news comes with sadness for you and your families. I spoke with Sheldon earlier this summer and he mentioned that Norman had been in failing health. He sent a photo of a celebration where you were all able to get together with both Marion and Norman. That must have been so wonderful, and will surely be a joyful memory for all of you. We will treasure the photo of all of you. It was so wonderful for us to have met Norman and Marion. What a special couple! Norman kept up with us for some time. We always enjoyed his calls and correspondences. I will forward this information on. CB and I will definitely plan to live stream the service. Our condolences to you and the family, with extra love and hugs for Marion. You are all in our prayers for you to have the strength to work through your loss. We know he is in a better place yet our hearts are heavy. Sending Love to all. Cheryle and Charlie Lawrence
