Suddenly at the Pembroke Regional Hospital, surrounded by the love of her family on Monday September 7, 2020 in her 87th year. Lillis Couturier (nee Ethier) of Westmeath, beloved wife of the late Vern Couturier. Loved and cherished mother of Debbie Dupuis (Joe), Beachburg, Penny Couturier (Jacques Fradette) Gatineau, Nancy Couturier, Ottawa and Brian Couturier (Kimberly) Pembroke. Loving grandmother to Adam (Jun), Geoffrey and Carrie Dupuis (Lee), Michelle Fradette, Braydon and Meegan Couturier and great granddaughter Mika. Dear sister of Laurette Couturier (late Emard) and Francis Ethier (late Claire). Predeceased by her sister Vivian Gilchrist (late John), Joseph Ethier (late Vera), Emmett Ethier, and Earl Ethier . Sister-in-law of Shirley and Joan Ethier. Daughter of the late Alexander and Mina (nee Gagnon) Ethier. Friends are invited to share their memories of Lillis with her family during visitation at the MURPHY FUNERAL HOME, 296 Isabella Street, Pembroke on Friday 2 – 4 and 7 – 9 p.m. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Saturday September 12th at 11:00 a.m. in Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church, Lapasse.
