Obituary for Catherine "Kay" Cliche (Chaput)

Peacefully at Marianhill Residence on Monday June 22, 2020 in her 90th year.
Kay Cliche (nee Chaput) of Pembroke, beloved mother of Philip Cliche (Lois MacMillan) of Casselman, Marlene Cliche-Savoy (Barry) of Petawawa, Leeann Cliche (Rick Fedorowicz) of Bowmanville and Brenda Cliche of Mississauga. "Gramma Kay" will be sadly missed by her 5 grandchildren Cathy and Keven Cliche, Shawn and Michael Savoy, Cole Cliche-Mason & by her great granddaughters Rachel Cliche-Cousineau and Koralie Cliche. Dear sister of Clarence Chaput Montreal and Morel Chaput, sisters, Joyce Beauchamp and Rita Leroux of Pembroke. Predeceased by granddaughter Wendy Leeann Savoy, by parents James and Mary Louise Chaput (nee Seymour), by sisters Irene Boucher, Leona Chaput, Mary Jane Ranger, Margaret Sallans and brothers Wilfred, Weldon and Donat (Joseph) Chaput. Due to the constraints of the Covid-19 directives a Private Family Funeral was held at the MURPHY FUNERAL HOME, 296 Isabella Street, Pembroke, with Interment in St. Columba’s Cemetery on Thursday morning June 25. In memory of Kay, donations to the Canadian Arthritis Society or the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated by the family. Most sincere thanks to Barry Savoy for his consistent caring involvement over the years. Mom, we will miss you. You will always be in our hearts. We love you. Rest in Peace.
