It is with great sadness and heavy hearts that we announce the sudden passing of our mother Sheila Ann Schultz (nee Sheridan) on Thursday January 2, 2020. Predeceased by her cherished husband, Donald Vincent Schultz. Beloved mother of Kathryn (John Brown), Patricia (Dean Burchart) and Nancy (Geoff Belsher). Proud and adored grandma to Ryan (Eirian), Katie (Adam), Quinn, Graydon, Delaney and great-grandma to Jacob. Sheila is survived by her siblings Kevin Sheridan (Catherine) and Donna Power (Joe) and predeceased by Patrick Jr., Peter, Marilyn, Johnny, Mary O’Connell (late John), James, Maurice, Gerald (late Shirley) and Eamon. She was the daughter of Annie Mulholland and Patrick Sheridan. Sheila will be sadly missed by her sisters-in-law Eileen, Roxanne, Lucie and Denise Sheridan, Marilyn Leonard (late Patrick) and her many nieces and nephews as well as her many friends she met over the years including her Bridge partners. Sheila was a respected and dedicated former CEO of the Pembroke General Hospital before retiring in 1999. She worked tirelessly to improve the hospital for staff, patients and the community. Sheila will be remembered for her warm heart, generosity and keen mind. As a proud Irish Catholic, Sheila was deeply devoted in her faith,and an active member of Our Lady of Lourdes Church. She was a long standing member of the Pembroke Regional Hospital Auxiliary, Our Lady of Lourdes Parish Council and the Catholic Women’s League. Her passion and devotion to her daughters and grandchildren brought her tremendous happiness and she took great pride in their accomplishments.

Friends are invited to share their memories of Sheila with her family during visitation at the MURPHY FUNERAL HOME, 296 Isabella Street Pembroke on Wednesday January 8th 2020 from 4 until 8 p.m. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Thursday January 9th 2020 at 10:30 a.m. in Our lady of Lourdes Church, Lourdesview Drive, Pembroke.
