Dorry Ann, Dave and families - my deepest condolences for the loss of your father. When a parishioner at Our Lady of Sorrows Church, your dad always said hello to all with his ready smile and welcoming manner. May your memories bring you comfort as his spirit lives on within each of you. May God bless you and keep you near him during this difficult time.

Vic was my CQ when I commanded M Coy, 3 RCR in the early '70s. Ably assisted by Earl Gay, he was there for the soldiers and never let me down, even though I may have presented him with some strange training aid requests. Storing rifle oil in empty SRD bottles nearly gave the CO a heart attack one day on his inspection of company stores because he assumed we were hoarding issue rum. Gave me a fright too because I knew we always had some issue rum on hand but I never knew where it was hidden!

My sincere condolences to the family.

John Selkirk, LCol (retired)
