Obituary

Peacefully at home on Monday May 20, 2019 at the age of 84 years. Marina Quinn (nee Sullivan) of Pembroke, beloved wife of John Quinn and by first marriage the late Donald Napier. Loved mother of Cathy Machin (Terry) and Douglas Napier (Sheila Smith), Jonathan Quinn (Heather), Shirley Park (Ron), Peter Quinn and Pat Quinn (Denise). Loving Nana to Sherry, Christine, Michael, Jennifer, Greg and Jenna and great grandchildren Mason, Logan, Abigail and Dominick. Sister of the late Blair Sullivan (late Donna) and the late Leonard Sullivan. Sister-in-law of Margaret. Daughter of the late Bernard and Marion (nee Power) Sullivan. The family would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to all the staff at Supples Landing for the care and compassion shown to Marina. Friends are invited to share their memories of Marina with her family during visitation at the MURPHY FUNERAL HOME, 296 Isabella Street, Pembroke on Saturday May 25 from 12 p.m. to 1:00 p.m. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Saturday at 1:30 p.m. in St. Columbkille’s Cathedral Pembroke. A luncheon will be held at Supples Landing following the Funeral Mass. Interment United Cemeteries, Carleton Place at a later date. In memory of Marina, donations to the Ottawa Regional Cancer Foundation would be appreciated. Condolences, tributes, donations www.murphyfuneralhome.ca

I have fond memories of Marina. She was a real trouper and I was so sorry to hear that she had cancer. I really enjoyed my visits to both of you and I offer you my sincere condolences.
